Animals are placed in taxonomic classifications based on differences and similarities of their traits. If you know what critical traits to look for, it is possible to separate any animal into a taxonomic category. The common categories are Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus and Species (Specific Epithet.) Example: Human Classification Domain: Eukarya Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Mammalia Order: Primates Family: Hominidae Genus: Homo Species: sapiens Scientific name: Homo sapiens Part 1: The assignment document contains a table with images. The images are examples of nine Animal Phylum: Porifera, Cnidaria, Nematoda, Athropoda, Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Mollusca, Echinodermata, and Chordata. Download U5IP_Table. Next, Download Dichotomous Key Use the Dichotomous Key to determine the taxonomic category (phylum or class as shown on the key) for each animal (picture), and write these categories under the Classification Column on the table. You will also need to list the phylum for each animal picture in column one; and list in column 2 all the steps chosen when using the key to arrive at the classification for each animal. For help on how to use the Dichotomous Key, download and review the document called How to use the Dichotomous Key. Save a copy of the table with your name in the file name. Part 2: Using text Chapters 23 and 24 answer the following questions as it relates to the nine phyla in the assignment table. (Porifera, Cnidaria, Nematoda, Arthropoda, Platyhelminthes, Annelida, Mollusca, Echinodermata, and Chordata.) 1. Which phyla lack organs? What type of symmetry do they have? 2. List all of the phyla that show cephalization? 3. Do all organisms on the table have 3 germ layers (endoderm, ectoderm and mesoderm)? If not, which Phyla have fewer than three germ layers? 4. One phylum has more species than all the others. State the name of this phylum and provide several different examples of species found in this phylum. 5. According to chapter 24, fish do not all have the same skeletal structure. Describe the differences among fish from the most primitive to more advanced types. 6. Describe the three types of mammals based on how their young develop. For information on Macintosh Word shortcuts, click here. Please submit your assignment. ty so much i can now continue on

how to choose a web hoster?

I want to register a domain name for my small business. For the first half year, I may not have time to build the website, but later on I am going to have tons of pictures and selling staff online. I am think to register a free domain name for the first couple months and then transfer to another hoster which provide a better service when my website is ready. Anyone can give me a suggestion which web hosters are good fit for my need.

How do I get a domain name if I want to create a website?

Do I need to go to something like GoDaddy or is there other options if the webname I chose is available?

How to start a website?

Hi and thanks for any help. I have recipes growing out of my eyes, ears, nose and throat. I was thinking, "Maybe I should start a website - then I wouldn't have to keep typing the same basic favorite recipes 4 times a day." I Googled (well actually bing.com), and looked at a couple of entries. I'm just so confused (as I'm not computer-savvy in the first place). I have a "domain name" in my head. Do not know how to choose a host, and what a reliable one would be (as in, are they reputable). I really don't know where or how to start. How would I put nice pictures on the site, if I ever get there? Sorry this is so lengthy... appreciate you smart computer people out there! Thanks much.

Is there an email service that lets you choose what is between the @ and .com without having to pay $?

I know that normally you can do that if you buy a domain name but im in a but of a pickle. I have an account that a friend made for me many years ago and she used a fake email just putting myname@randomletters.com, problem is now after getting hacked i changed the password but i believe mis-spelled it and am locked out. I cant have it email me the password because the email doesnt actually exist. Which is where actually makintg that email account comes into play. But not sure how to phrase in a search and look it up. :(

how to publish website using iweb?

i made a website using iweb in the ilife suite on mac. i got my mac in july 09 with leopard and then updated to snow leopard when that came out a few months later so i guess i have the most recent version of iweb which is iweb '09? or iweb 3? anyway, i do not want to publish using mobile me because you have to pay. i've read lots of different sites telling me how to publish using the integrated FTP and publish to local folder and then using Cyberduck. where i get stuck is finding my server name. none of the sites i've read tell me how or where to find my server name and login info. all of the tutorials using the integrated FTP say "'ftp.yourdomain.com' stands for the domain you chose when you signup" ....sign up for what how and where?! cyberduck asks for the same thing (server name) i just have no idea how to find this out! i've searched and searched and nothing i've read explains ANYTHING about that part of the process. they all just assume i already magically know it somehow. i'm at college and use the schools wireless network to connect to the internet. how would i find this "server name" info at school and/or how would i find it on my own personal network back home? someone please help i need to publish this website for my final project for school and i have no idea what to do!!! thank you so much sorry if my question is long =( i just want to make sure you have all the details!
